Composers Kaija Saariaho and Carla Lucero are featured in Danse Lumiere’s programs. Saariaho’s opera Innocence was performed by San Francisco Opera and Carla Lucero (featured in our UC Berkeley program) had the first Spanish language opera Three Women of Jerusalem performed by Los Angeles Opera.
